
A former marketing manager with Greenwich, Connecticut-based Unilever, global sales professional John Finneran held full profit and loss responsibility for more than $66 million in annual revenue. In addition to planning and executing annual marketing plans, John Finneran of Connecticut implemented new product launches and promotional plans that helped advance Lever soap brands to a No. 1 market share.
Additionally, he presented a new logistics program for Walmart, which resulted in an 88-percent reduction in lead time and a 20-percent increase in Unilever sales. During his time with Unilever, he created ad campaigns that earned 10 industry awards, including one ADDY and five Silver Microphone Awards.
Earlier in his career, he served as the director of sales for ISI Brands and as the marketing manager for BIC Consumer Products. At Connecticut College, he earned a bachelor of arts in political science and Hispanic studies. Outside of work, he volunteers as a mentor for individuals with developmental delays.
